JD Building Co.
In his early twenties, Josh began his journey in construction with Artisan Construction in Charlottesville, VA, where he worked hard to learn the trade from the ground up. After gaining hands-on experience, he stepped away to help start, run, and grow a nonprofit organization in South Africa focused on skills training and community development.
When Josh returned to the States, he continued building his construction background as a superintendent with Sage Build Construction under Doug Lowe. In 2019, after completing his own personal home, Josh and his wife Abby founded JD Building Co.
Today, JD Building Co. is committed to working hand-in-hand with clients to create meaningful spaces and enduring homes—places built with intention, craftsmanship, and legacy in mind.
